Transfer Pension to Australia | QROPS Australia
British expatriates in Australia who are over 55 years old have now been told they can transfer their UK pensions to an Australian SMSF which is a qualified Recognised Overseas Pension Scheme as long as the deeds have been re-written to only allow Brits over 55 to comply with British pension rules.
Australian pensions face no tax after age 60, giving British expats a huge tax relief rather than paying tax on their pensions in the UK.
Good news for British pensioners in Oz!
