Foreign Wives of British Expats to Lose UK State Pension

Foreign Wives of British Expats to Lose UK State Pension

British expats have been criticized for allowing their Thai wives to receive a state pension whilst never living in the UK. The government's new proposal will cut all benefits to foreign wives and husbands living outside the UK. They will lose their 'category B' state pensions every year which is another kick in the gut to British expats living offshore who don't claim on NHS, use most of UK's services or get other benefits that residents in the UK get.
